Fall Color

Happy Monday!

Or maybe not-so-much… I’m not a fan of Mondays. Which is why I bring you some Fall foliage.

I found some cheapy mums at Kroger today, which makes me happy.

So does the witch pumpkin that The Renaissance Man carved for me.

Any time a pumpkin wears a hat, I’m happy.

TRM has one more pumpkin to carve, and then our front door display with be ready for trick-or-treaters! The mums get to stay through Thanksgiving.

How do you decorate for Halloween? Do you go all out, or not decorate at all? We love Halloween around here, and wouldn’t let it pass without doing a little something.

On a different, more horticultural note: Do you overwinter your fall mums? If you do, how do you do it (in pots, in-ground, etc.) and do they bloom for you next fall? I’m going to try to overwinter these guys. We’ll see…
